Elliptorhina chopardi (dwarf hisser)
Dwarf hissers are small but still capable of producing a loud hiss for their size. Unlike the common G. portentosa, their body shape is more oblong.

Ergaula capucina

Eublaberus distanti (six-spotted)
The six-spotted roach boasts elegance and beauty for any collection. Adults have shiny pearl-colored wings. Nymphs are a rich maroon color and sport four to six glowing spots. This is another type of roach that is unable to climb smooth surfaces.

Eublaberus posticus (orange head)
Eublaberus posticus is also known as the orange head roach. The scientific name is commonly misspelled "prosticus" but the proper scientific name should be posticus which is Latin for "posterior."

Eurycotis decipiens (zebra roach)
Of all the roaches I keep, Eurycotis decipiens ranks as my all-time favorite. I consider this to be one of the better display roaches because I constantly see them out and about. They are one of the least skittish species I keep.

Eurycotis floridana (skunk roach)
Famously hailed as the Florida skunch roach, Eurycotis floridana emits a strong defense odor that reminds me of almonds. Call me strange, but I think they are the best smelling of all the roaches I keep.
