Archimandrita tesselata (peppered)
The peppered roach bears a calm temperament which makes me think of this species as the perfect pet roach. Both nymphs and adults are non-climbers.

Archimandrita marmorata
Similar in appearance and behavior to A. tesselata, A. marmorata have more boldy defined wing markings resembling tree bark.

Arenivaga sp.
This desert roach is of the most attractive species native to the United States. Adult males have a Smokey the Bear pattern on their pronotum.

Blattidae sp. (African bullet roach)
These are commonly mislabeled as Bantua robusta. Adults and larger nymphs sport attractive red colors.
